Job Details

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The company is currently utilizing Microsoft Great Plains and is seeking someone who can support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with the month-end close process, and contribute to improving accounting procedures as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the month-end and year-end close process
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial reporting
Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
Assist with audits and provide support for external accountants
Help improve accounting workflows and internal processes
Work within Microsoft Great Plains and support ongoing accounting operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1–3+ years of accounting experience
Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
