We are seeking applicants for a Staff Accountant role for a growing manufacturing company outside Burlington. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger management, and financial reporting, while working closely with operations and leadership.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain exposure to cost accounting and manufacturing operations within a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze financial data and support monthly reporting and variance analysis
Support inventory and cost accounting functions, including tracking materials and production costs
Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory accounts
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Partner with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
Maintain accurate financial records and support audit requests
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
Exposure to cost accounting or inventory accounting a plus
Experience with NetSuite highly preferred
Strong Excel skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Pay Details: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour
