Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
CornerStone Professional Placement is working with a growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations across multiple entities. This role offers strong visibility to leadership and the opportunity to own key pieces of the accounting cycle in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, takes ownership of their work, and has experience in job cost accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily accounting activities across several related entities
* Manage payables and receivables processes with accuracy and timeliness
* Track and maintain project/job-related costs
* Prepare and post journal entries, including prepaid expense allocations
* Reconcile accounts and maintain integrity of the general ledger
* Assist in closing processes and produce monthly financial reports
* Support funding requests tied to ongoing projects
* Partner closely with the Controller on reporting and process improvements
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity setting
* Proven experience with job costing (required)
* Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage 300 is a plus
* Comfortable working with Excel and general accounting systems
* Self-starter who can prioritize and execute without constant direction
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Industry experience in construction, development, or similar is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
* Employment Type: Direct Hire
* Schedule: Monday - Friday

* Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
