Staff Accountant
Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing client to identify a Direct Hire Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to join a dynamic organization and contribute to its continued growth. The Staff Accountant will support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting, reconciliations, payroll, compliance, and tax-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
Support payroll processing and related reconciliations
Assist with tax filings and compliance requirements
Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Help prepare financial reports and audit documentation
Maintain organized financial records and follow internal controls
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of accounting experience preferred
Experience with accounting or ERP systems
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Preferred
Payroll processing experience
Tax compliance or reporting experience
Exposure to multiple areas of accounting and financial operations
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
