Our ambition is to be the undisputed leader of the olive oil industry.We are looking for a Staff Accountant with finance skills to join our Finance Team located at our offices in Dallas (US).DEOLEO is committed to equal opportunities and values diversity, inclusion, and a sustainable workplace.Responsibilities Maintain and distribute accounting closing calendar.Oversee the journal entry log to ensure completeness.Prepare and post journal entries.Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts for Deoleo USA and Deoleo Canada.Reconcile intercompany accounts.Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.Assist with tax compliance for Deoleo USA and Deoleo Canada.Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Participate in internal and external audits and provide required documentation.Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications Accounting Degree.CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation.1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.Competent in writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.Proficiency in accounting software (SAP).Strong understanding of GAAP.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits & Workplace DEOLEO “Live Green” benefits include flexibility and work-life balance to support wellbeing, real opportunities for growth within a dynamic, global company, access to the Deoleo Learning Academy with more than a hundred courses, a diverse and sustainable workplace, and opportunities to contribute regardless of role, country, or background.Culture & ValuesWe lead the way and empower everyone to get the job done, embrace diversity, act in the best interest of olive oil's sustainable future, and demonstrate resilience to adapt quickly while focusing on results.If you believe you match these values, we are looking forward to meeting you.
