Join our finance department as a vital contributor where your keen eye for detail will be crucial in maintaining precise financial records. You will play an instrumental role in our month-end and year-end closings and guide our company’s adherence to accounting norms and regulations, supporting strategic decisions with valuable insights. In this position, you will:

- Skillfully manage and scrutinize journal entries, conduct detailed account reconciliations, and oversee general ledger tasks to uphold data accuracy and thoroughness.
- Supervise payables and receivables by handling invoices and vendor payments through various accounting systems.
- Regularly perform balance sheet reconciliations to certify the precision of financial information and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Contribute to payroll tasks using systems such as ADP or Kronos, ensuring punctual and accurate employee compensation.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to SOX controls, and support internal audits by managing essential documents.
- Partner with different teams on budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting tasks to aid in reaching company objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial transactions, aligning with GAAP and other relevant standards.

Qualifications include:

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CPA credentials being essential.
- A proven track record in corporate, public, or governmental accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and familiarity with payroll systems like ADP.
- Understanding of financial concepts including debits and credits, and skilled in journal entry and ledger reconciliation.
- Acumen in GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and audit activities confidently.
