Direct Impact: You aren't just processing numbers; you are a key partner supporting both our central accounting function and our cross‑functional operations management teams.Professional Growth: Manage full‑cycle accounting processes and take true ownership of diverse projects.Collaborative Culture: Work directly alongside our Controller in a supportive, team‑oriented corporate environment.What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Full‑Cycle AP & AR: Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Revenue & Cash Management: Reconcile banking activities and accurately record daily cash receipts, transient revenues, and monthly permit collections across multiple client locations.Invoicing & Reporting: Spearhead month‑end reporting activities (including accrual journal entries and transient reports) and prepare monthly customer invoices with detailed supporting documentation.Payroll Support: Assist with weekly payroll preparation processes and bi‑weekly accounting.Expense Management: Reconcile corporate travel and expense reports against credit card statements.Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Provide value‑added service to other departments, assist with inventory/shipping responsibilities, and tackle exciting ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned.What We Are Looking For Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Staff Accountant or a relevant role in an accounting environment.Education: Associate degree in accounting or equivalent practical work experience.Tech Savvy: Recent intermediate to advanced QuickBooks experience is required; advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.Mindset: A determined professional who takes ownership of projects, works independently to meet deadlines, and possesses an exceptional eye for detail.Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional management.Qualifications Bachelor's degree or similar experience in Accounting or Finance.Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in similar accounting roles.Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.Flexible approach to handle additional tasks outside routine responsibilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
