Industrial Inspection & Analysis is currently experiencing rapid growth, and we are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting and Finance team in Alpharetta, GA .Position SummaryThis is a hybrid position where the Staff Accountant will support the Controller for general accounting, monthly close and financial reporting. The candidate must be experienced, detail-oriented and have the required educational background necessary to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. He/she must have a thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles including best practices and procedures related to internal and external audit functions, GAAP accounting standards and have strong financial analysis skills. The successful individual will need to rely upon experience, expertise and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A proven ability to perform a wide variety of accounting related tasks. Individuals must possess proficiency working within an ERP system.Essential FunctionsRecord, allocate, and post journal entries for daily business transactionsPerform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to identify and correct discrepanciesPerform monthly wage analysis and book adjustments in accordance with business' feedbackAssist with state tax, local sales and use tax filings and, research issues, ensure accuracy and documentation is clear and organized; work with CSC for state filingsProvide suggestions to accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely month end AP and AR close process according to the accounting close scheduleReview of P&L accounts to resolve adjustment issuesAssist with external audit by preparing documentation and schedules to verify financial accuracySupport subsidiaries and staff with accounting needsSupport special projects and development activities assigned by Controller and CFORequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceU.S. Citizen or Permanent ResidentExperienceHigh proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn internal systems2-3 years progressive accounting experience in general accounting position with additional experience in Accounts Payable and ReceivableStrong hands‑on experience with month‑end close processesInvolvement in business registration, tax compliance and creating, distributing, and reporting tax datasheets3+ years of experience with NetSuiteLanguagesEnglishSkills/AttributesDisplay excellent quantitative, reasoning, and analytical skillsHigh personal integrity and professionalismHave strong communication skills and sense of urgencyTeam player with a service mentalityProactive thinker and self‑starter and high degree of ownershipProven ability to meet day‑to‑day deadlinesFlexible, organized, and able to handle competing prioritiesWork ArrangementsHybrid environment.
