Additionally, the Staff Accountant is responsible for supervising other areas within the Finance Department under the direction of the Assistant Director of Finance, including payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering in accordance with all related local and corporate policies and procedures.What You Will DoSupervise payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering in accordance with related policies and procedures.Support the Assistant Director of Finance with maintaining the effectiveness of internal controls to safeguard the hotel's assets and resources.Assist other department managers with labor standards, payroll, and other related matters.Supervise the efforts, quality, and timeliness of payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering as directed.Assist with developing the Finance Department staff to aid the company's future growth.Maintain working knowledge of the Accounting & Finance Manual.Support month‑end processes, including preparation of financial statements, accruals, journal entries, and maintaining reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Ensure income is properly recorded and an accurate and timely Daily Revenue Report is generated.Direct the efforts, quality and timeliness of payroll, general ledger, accounts payable and general cashiering.Understand the current Edition of USALI.Prepare and coordinate monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and all bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving outstanding reconciling items.Perform all daily, monthly, and other periodic accounting and financial reporting in an accurate and timely manner.Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure accuracy of count, price, and valuation.Maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all departments and Home Office.Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed.What You BringCollege degree and 2+ years of progressive experience in Accounting Management, preferably in a hotel setting.Previous payroll experience and knowledge of labor laws.Previous leadership experience overseeing a team.Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel; experience with Sun, Opera, BirchStreet Systems preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, delivering presentations and facilitating meetings.Fluency in English required for this location and current work authorization in the United States.What We OfferComprehensive benefits package.Market‑leading pay and benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision and Retirement Savings Plan).Complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.Complimentary employee meals.Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.Culinary, retail and wellness experiences at special rates.Schedule & HoursThis is a full‑time position (on‑site).Compensation$90,000 - $95,000 Annually.Applicants will be responsible for obtaining or currently holding proper work authorization for the country in which the position is located.Equal Opportunity StatementFour Seasons is an Equal Opportunity, affirmative action employer.
