We’re looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented Inventory Specialist to keep our sheet metal fabrication workflow running smoothly. If you enjoy staying active, supporting production teams, and being the person who keeps materials moving in the right place at the right time, this role is for you. This is a hands‑on position working directly with welders, fabricators, and production leads — not a warehouse‑only or forklift‑only job. What You’ll Do - Use handheld scanners to receive, transfer, and issue materials with accuracy
- Pick, stage, and deliver components for welding and fabrication jobs
- Move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods between production areas
- Transport completed parts to inspection and assist with packaging for shipment
- Load/unload trucks using pallet jacks (occasional forklift use)
- Maintain organized inventory locations and support cycle counts
- Keep the production floor clean, safe, and well‑organized
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
What Makes You a Strong Fit - Experience in manufacturing, material handling, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with scanners or basic inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in this role
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and proactive
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Comfortable working in a fabrication/industrial environment
- Able to operate pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus
Work Environment - Sheet metal fabrication facility
- Exposure to industrial equipment and materials
- PPE required and provided
Why You’ll Love Working Here - Stable, team‑oriented environment
- Opportunities to grow within a manufacturing operation
- A role where your work directly supports production success
- Hands‑on, active work — no sitting behind a desk
