Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Test Technician for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. The ideal candidate will support aerospace testing operations by performing system-level testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation of aircraft components to ensure product quality and performance.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $32/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Test Technician Job Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct testing, calibration, and validation of aerospace systems, components, and inertial navigation products to ensure compliance with performance specifications.

  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues at both system and component levels, supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and Failure Review Boards (FRB) by providing detailed test data, diagnostics, and technical recommendations.

  • Assemble, qualify, repair, and maintain test stations and specialized test equipment used in aerospace manufacturing and validation activities.

  • Document test procedures, results, and findings while ensuring accurate reporting and communication with key stakeholders.

  • Support laboratory operations by managing equipment inventory, maintaining testing environments, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Aerospace Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineering Test Technician or in a similar aerospace/manufacturing testing role.

  • Strong experience in aerospace testing, calibration, system-level troubleshooting, schematic interpretation, and the use of aerospace test equipment and software tools.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems down to the component level, perform test station qualification and repair, and support engineering investigations through data analysis and reporting.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
