The Sr. Technical Writer will be responsible for authoring and revising maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, NDT manuals, tool & equipment manuals, and component maintenance guides to ensure aircraft continued airworthiness.
- Create detailed documentation using engineering data, drawings, and test information.
- Develop illustrations to accompany maintenance instructions.
- Perform quality checks for accuracy and consistency.
- Follow and improve established procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, core teams, and customer service to validate documents.
- Preferably possess a degree in an aviation-related field or equivalent experience, with a background in aircraft maintenance or Technical Orders a plus.
- Require understanding of engineering data, aircraft systems, and maintenance practices, with experience in SGML/XML, Arbortext, or Adobe FrameMaker.
- Exhibit professional communication skills and a mechanical aptitude.
