Sr. Technical Designer – Evening Dresses & RTW

The role involves overseeing garment fitting and ensuring that our design visions meet the highest industry standards in quality and fit. Key responsibilities include managing precise technical specifications, ensuring garments meet company quality benchmarks, and spearheading fit evaluations. You will work hand-in-hand with the VP of Technical Design and design teams to innovate and refine existing processes, aiming for continuous improvement in product quality. Responsibilities also include partnering with designers and merchants to define fit and style details, utilizing cutting-edge digital tools to communicate with international vendors, preparing garments for fitting sessions, and taking active roles in fitting meetings. Your expertise will be crucial in approving garment fit and construction within designated timelines and recommending improvements in specifications, patterns, and construction techniques to bolster the overall garment quality. Daily communication with overseas factories to ensure alignment and smooth flow of information forms a vital part of this role.
