Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Abilene, TX This role offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and paid holidays.

Position Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life cycle recruiting for field and craft non-exempt positions (both DOT and non-DOT), including roles such as line workers, electricians, plant operators, and maintenance technicians. This position also supports select exempt and management-level hiring as needed.
The role requires strong independent judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and serves as a subject matter expert and resource for less experienced recruiting team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer delivery
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to define staffing needs and hiring strategies
  • Source qualified candidates using both internal and external recruiting methods
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews, reference checks, and assessments
  • Extend employment offers and communicate compensation, benefits, and employment terms
  • Manage internal transfer process and coordinate interviews and offer letters
  • Maintain candidate relationships and provide regular updates to hiring managers and applicants
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including affirmative action requirements
  • Manage applicant data and activity within Workday ATS
  • Support onboarding and new hire orientation processes
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance recruiting efficiency and compliance
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate (non-agency) recruiting experience
  • 3 years of knowledge and experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources
  • Experience recruiting field/craft roles, including DOT and non-DOT positions
  • Valid driver’s license required
