Long-term consulting role (12-24+ months, potential FTE) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EV team's CSMS development. Responsible for hiring and training two junior-mid team members.
Must sit in or relocate to Bentonville (hybrid).
Requires 10+ years' experience with Java, Python, or Golang frameworks, and 3+ years designing and developing CSMS platforms for EV charging stations supporting OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1.
Strong understanding of EV protocols, hardware, and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
Preferred certifications in OCPP and experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Responsibilities include leading development efforts, mentoring teams, ensuring scalable and high-quality solutions, and troubleshooting hardware-software issues.
Must have extensive hands-on development skills, experience with EV standards like ISO 15118, and knowledge of open-source CSMS frameworks.
