Core Responsibilities
Own Master Production Scheduling for the LEGO manufacturing Virginia site (LVA) Component Planning
Own Shop Floor Scheduling for LVA Component Planning
Secure high day-to-day involvement with the LVA component production planning team and ensure that tasks handled are completed within the agreed timeframes
Cover responsibility for global processes with local ownership. This can be either as a local owner or as a global counterpart.

LVA Component Planning is a Consumer Driven Operation with the mission to deliver components at the right time, at the right quality, and in the most cost-efficient way.
The Senior Planning Manager needs to be strong in both technical ability and partner management to ensure we balance feasibility and costs optimally in an environment with different focus areas and department initiatives. Strong technical skills are essential to align and motivate diverse teams, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability across functions. The role ensures consistent execution, clear communication, and efficient decision-making, ultimately enabling the organization to adapt quickly while maintaining high performance and cost discipline.
Do you have what it takes?
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related technical field is highly desired. Proficiency in data analytics and advanced planning tools is also crucial to drive strategic improvements and optimize supply chain performance. The candidate must have experience in supply chain management or logistics.
Must have:
Deep planning expertise and ability to articulate key supply chain dependencies and planning principles
Ability to deliver results consistently and execute the agenda laid out. The results are very much based on the ability to find the right balance between service and costs.
Actively encourage those in the team and others to share different viewpoints to generate an integrated understanding of issues and opportunities, and to encourage innovation.
Great communicator, both orally and in writing, with supply chain experts, production managers, and technical engineers, with the ability to obtain the needed level of insight into both areas to be successful.
Since solutions to constraints and supply dilemmas most often require cross-functional involvement, the owner of this role must navigate in an environment of conflicting interests and still be able to drive the right decisions that serve the LEGO Group best.
SAP or similar ERP experience

Due to the mix of high complexity in data analysis and the practical layers of production constraints, the owner of this role must apply critical thinking to all data before making recommendations or decisions.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $128,542.00 - $192,812.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
