    Charles Schwab Insurance Services (CSIS) supports the insurance and annuity needs of millions of individual investors and thousands of Registered Investment Advisors. CSIS is responsible for annuity and insurance product management, distribution support, partner oversight, and the platforms and tools that enable these services.

    The Associate Regional Annuity Specialist supports a team of Regional Annuity Specialists by focusing on client service, sales and operational support. This is a relationship‑based client support role with a high level of engagement across clients, peers, and internal partners. Specialists build trust and inspire confidence through exceptional one‑on‑one service while helping research and support annuity solutions aligned to client needs and investing goals.

    Required Qualifications (skills assessed during the interview):

    • Client Experience Management: The role is explicitly centered on delivering exceptional client service through a relationship-based, end-to-end focus on the client journey. This skill allows prioritization of client needs across annuity research, service requests, and operational follow-through while building and strengthening trusted client relationships over time. Strong communication is essential to deliver clear and responsive service with clients and partners.
    • Product Expertise: The Associate Regional Annuity Specialist applies a fundamental understanding of annuities and income strategies in daily support work and progresses toward deep, expert knowledge across multiple annuity types to better support research, service, and client outcomes.
    • Building Collaborative Relationships: The role requires strong relationship-building and collaboration skills to effectively support Regional Annuity Specialists and work with internal partners in a highly interconnected service environment. Clear, timely communication is essential to align on client needs, coordinate operational follow-through, share updates, and ensure consistent, trusted service outcomes across the team.
    • Task Management: This role depends on strong execution habits to manage competing requests efficiently while ensuring accurate, compliant operational follow-through. Time management and organization support disciplined tracking, prioritization, and completion of service activities while attention to detail helps reduce risk and prevent errors. Clear communication is essential to set expectations, confirm requirements, share status updates, and coordinate next steps with clients, Regional Annuity Specialists, and internal partners.

    Additional Requirements

    • Active FINRA Series 6 or 7 license
    • Active FINRA Series 63 license (or equivalent)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Life & Health Insurance License
    • May be obtained within the first 120 days

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonuses or incentive opportunities.We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified locations.
