Job Overview
We are seeking a candidate for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Research Technology team within Investment Technology. You will work closely with other members of IT, including other developers, business analysts, and QA engineers, to design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions to meet business requirements, and will also interact with members of our Investment Platform in architecting world-class research and collaboration capabilities.
In this role, you will help drive the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLM) into investment research processes and workflows. This includes contributing to systems that leverage LLM-powered reasoning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), enterprise-scale knowledge management, and intelligent automation to enhance research depth, improve discovery of information, and streamline the flow of insights across the investment lifecycle.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits.
The base salary range for this position is: USD 90,000 - 180,000. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, role, skills, and experience. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/or Incentives, if eligible.
