The Web Accessibility Specialist will lead testing and audit activities using manual and automated tools, assistive technologies, and standards like WCAG and ADA to ensure web and mobile application accessibility.
They will develop and manage test plans, cases, and scripts, conduct functional and regression testing, and document defects and areas for improvement.
The role involves collaborating with analysts and clients, providing expertise in accessibility testing, supporting usability research, and offering ADA awareness training.
Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree, 7+ years of QA experience, proficiency with testing tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab), and knowledge of ADA standards (WAVE, JAWS, axe).
Certifications such as CPWA or WAS, experience with assistive technologies, and understanding of HTML5/CSS are also desirable.
