Sr. Project Manager – Industrial Automation & Controls
Location: Remote with up to 50% travel

Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of industrial automation and controls projects for a growing team focused on helping manufacturers and industrial facilities improve operations through technology. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for clients while overseeing project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project success.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating technical teams, and building strong relationships with customers. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the full lifecycle of automation and controls projects from kickoff through completion
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and maintain ongoing communication throughout project execution
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
  • Coordinate engineering, programming, commissioning, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Monitor project financial performance and manage scope changes, risks, and change orders
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, efficiency, and client satisfaction
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and third-party resources as needed
  • Ensure contractual requirements, documentation, and project deliverables are completed accurately
  • Support business growth by developing strong client relationships and identifying future project opportunities

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a technical, engineering, or industrial environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Experience working with industrial automation, controls, manufacturing, or process systems is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, HMI, MES, or related industrial software is a plus
  • PMP certification or similar project management credentials are preferred
