This individual brings a stable career history, strong client-facing skills, and thrives in environments requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.

  • 3+ years of experience managing construction projects with a General Contractor (GC)
  • Direct experience supporting industrial water/wastewater facility design and construction
  • Proven experience leading the full construction scope, including:
    • Subcontractor buyout
    • Safety and field execution
    • Schedule ownership
    • RFIs and submittals
    • Change management
    • Pay applications
    • Coordination of all trades through project turnover
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong understanding of estimating, construction methods, and project delivery models
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in construction environments
  • Strong client-facing, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, etc.)
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ based on project needs
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of water/wastewater construction projects across design-build, construction management, or construct-only delivery models
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients/owners, managing communication, expectations, and overall project delivery
  • Partner with preconstruction teams to support RFP responses, including conceptual estimating, scheduling, and proposal development
  • Review and monitor design progress; provide input on constructability, scope, and cost impacts
  • Develop detailed project estimates, cost codes, and implement cost control systems
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, including bid packaging, leveling, qualification, and contract awards
  • Establish project team structure and coordinate closely with field leadership, including superintendents
  • Build and manage project schedules, conduct regular site meetings, and maintain schedule updates
  • Oversee project financials, including labor tracking, cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management
  • Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory approvals with governing authorities and A/E partners
  • Manage RFIs and submittals, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications
  • Lead client progress meetings, manage correspondence, and provide regular project updates
  • Oversee change order process, including negotiation, documentation, and budget updates
  • Manage invoicing and pay applications to support project cash flow and collections
  • Review and approve subcontractor/vendor payments, ensuring compliance with contract terms and insurance requirements
  • Address subcontractor and supplier performance issues, including documentation and corrective action as needed
  • Monitor project execution for quality, safety, and compliance with company standards
  • Coordinate all trades through project completion and turnover
  • Support development and mentoring of junior team members
  • Lead project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, and warranty coordination
