BA/BS in Engineering, Management, or equivalent experience
10+ years in manufacturing operations or supply chain, specifically working with high-tech hardware and external factories (Contract Manufacturers)
Expert level with NetSuite (or similar ERPs) and Google Suite
Strong understanding of hardware manufacturing, assembly lines, and outsourced service models
Able to lead cross-functional teams and present clearly to executive leadership
Must be able to travel to manufacturing facilities in Mexico
Fluency in English is required (Spanish is a major plus)
Experience negotiating with Contract Manufacturers and managing commercial relationships
Strong understanding of production planning, material management, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
Ability to monitor market conditions and communicate risks to leadership
Responsibilities:
Own the commercial relationship with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) including negotiating costs, getting quotes, and running Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Lead the "Clear to Build" (CTB) process ensuring the factory has materials, staff, and capacity to meet build forecasts
Own the master build schedules and serve as point person for ensuring production happens on time and stays on track
Work with Global Supply Management (GSM) team to fix material shortages, manage inventory, and prepare for New Product Introductions (NPI)
Monitor market conditions and keep leadership updated on any risks that could delay production
