We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Senior Project Manager to join our Commercial Construction team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including ground-up construction, commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and remodels across various sectors such as Industrial, Office, Corporate Office, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Industrial, Retail, and Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of project management, including scheduling, estimating, bidding, and value engineering, and will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality commercial projects on time and within budget. The candidate will also have experience with Procore, a leading construction management software.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

1. Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
7. Prepare project status reports and ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.
8. Use Procore for project management, including scheduling, estimating, and document control.
9. Conduct project meetings, set and manage expectations, and manage the execution of deliverables.
10. Work closely with the team to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
11. Apply value engineering principles to maximize project profitability without compromising quality.

Qualifications (Business Development background a plus)

1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
3. Proven experience in managing ground-up construction, commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and remodels.
4. Experience across various sectors including Office, Corporate Office, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Industrial, Retail, and Restaurant.
5. Proficiency in Procore, including scheduling, estimating, bidding, and document control.
6. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
7. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
8. Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
9. Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects.
10. Strong knowledge of construction law and building codes.
11. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
12. Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
13. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
14. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
15. Certification in project management (PMP) or equivalent would be a plus.
