Position Details:
Sr. Project Manager (Planisware Developer)-Hybrid- Alameda, CA
Location : Alameda, CA– 94502 (Hybrid -4 days a week on, 1 day remote)
Project Duration : 12 Months of contract (Potential to convert FTE)
Pay Rate : $93.00 per hour on W2
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Planisware Developer with a strong technical background and experience in project portfolio management (PPM) tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in configuring, customizing, and developing within the Planisware environment, along with a solid understanding of PPM principles and lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
· Configure and customize Planisware modules to meet business requirements.
· Develop scripts, workflows, and data models within Planisware.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
· Maintain and optimize system performance, ensuring data integrity and security.
· Integrate Planisware with other enterprise systems using APIs or data exchange patterns.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Planisware-related issues.
· Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as a technical developer using Planisware.
· 3+ years of experience working with Planisware or similar PPM tools (e.g., Planview).
· Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) principles and lifecycle.
· Proficiency in Planisware configuration, scripting, and data modeling.
· Experience with SQL, JavaScript, or other relevant technologies is a plus.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience integrating Planisware with other enterprise systems using APIs or ETL processes.
· Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project environments.
· Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

· Have you interviewed for this role before? If so, what challenges did you face? We need people who have done config work on Planisware. We received a lot of poor fit candidates that had never used Planisware, but said they did.
