Summary The Senior Project Contract Analyst Ortho serves as the primary point of contact for all orthopedic contracting activities within Supply Chain. Performs the full scope of responsibilities associated with a Project Contract Analyst while also leading communication and coordination between Supply Chain and the Orthopedic service line. Partners closely with orthopedic clinical leadership, executive leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of contracting strategies, product standardization, and costâ€'effective decisionâ€'making. Provides subjectâ€'matter expertise, manages complex contracting initiatives, and supports onboarding and development of team members. Provides lead responsibilities related to all orthopedic related agreements. Serves as subject matter expert and leadership for all Project Contract Analysts with orthopedic involvement. Provides front facing end user and provider level support. Orthopedic Contract Leadership: Serves as the primary liaison for all orthopedic contracts, including implants, instruments, biologics, equipment, and related services. Leads contract development, negotiation support, implementation, and ongoing contract management for orthopedic categories. Maintains strong relationships with orthopedic clinical and executive leaders to ensure contracting strategies align with clinical needs and organizational goals. Monitors contract performance, pricing accuracy, compliance, and vendor adherence to terms. Project Process Management: Performs all accountabilities of a Project Contract Analyst, including data analysis, contract review, financial impact modeling, and project documentation. Leads and coordinates crossâ€'functional projects related to orthopedic supply standardization, costâ€'reduction initiatives, and product conversions. Ensures timely communication of contract changes, product updates, and project milestones to stakeholders. Supports continuous improvement of Supply Chain contracting processes. Vendor Supplier Engagement: Acts as the primary Supply Chain contact for orthopedic suppliers and vendors. Facilitates communication, issue resolution, and contractâ€'related inquiries. Supports vendor onboarding, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring. Team Support Development: Shares expertise in orthopedic contracting, analytics, and Supply Chain processes. Promotes a collaborative, learningâ€'focused team environment. Education Bachelors degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business, Nursing, or another healthcareâ€'related field Experience Minimum of 7 to 10 years direct relevant experience, in a healthcare or business setting, in a similar contracting, analytics, or project management role Other Qualifications Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clinical and executive leaders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Excel and Word. Ability and willingness to teach, mentor, and support others during onboarding and ongoing development. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problemâ€'solving abilities. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
