The CTL operates as a strategic partner to Marketing, RandD, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams, and serves as the primary champion for delivery excellence, governance rigor, cross-functional decision-making, and compliant execution of product development activities within the applicable quality management system. The portfolio includes Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm vascular products and Peripheral Vascular products. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Business and Portfolio Leadership - Facilitate development of a product roadmap, including program selection, prioritization, value alignment, and optimization, ensuring decisions are grounded in delivering meaningful patient outcomes and long-term business value. - Establish and manage Strategic Plan (Strat Plan) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgets, timelines, and milestones for assigned programs with a strong focus on integrity, transparency, and accountability. - Partner closely with marketing, RandD, clinical, and commercial leaders to ensure portfolio alignment with business strategy and evolving patient and market needs. - Collaborate across functions to meet delivery, revenue, and margin commitments, fostering a highly collaborative environment that drives shared success. - Champion best-in-class delivery processes, including Design for Reliability and Manufacturability and Voice of the Customer (VOC/VOX) integration, embracing innovation to continuously improve how we deliver value. Program and Execution Leadership Form and lead high-performing, cross-functional Core Teams across multiple concurrent programs, promoting a culture of collaboration, trust, and bold decision-making. Accountable for disciplined program execution through rigorous planning, baseline control, and effective use of program management tools across scope, schedule, critica path, cost, resources, risk, and quality, with a strong commitment to doing whats right and delivering with excellence. Serves as the strategic voice of their programs, effectively representing everything from high-level vision and market positioning to technical details and workflows to stakeholders and clinicians. Serve as the primary escalation point for trade-off decisions and issue resolution, demonstrating sound judgment, transparency, and ownership while driving timely cross-functional reviews, required approvals, and effective change control to assess downstream impacts to verification/validation, regulatory submissions, manufacturing, labeling, training, and post-market commitments. Lead resource planning discussions with functional organizations to ensure their programs are appropriately staffed and positioned for success. Ensure delivery of contracted commitments, performance metrics, global commercialization launches, and design transfer readiness by aligning development outputs with manufacturing, supplier, validation, inspection, training, and applicable quality requirements, taking smart risks where needed to achieve breakthrough outcomes. Lead and coordinate product development activities in accordance with applicable design control and product realization requirements, including defined development planning, design and development reviews, design inputs/outputs, verification, validation, design transfer, and design changes. Ensure product and process risks are identified, evaluated, controlled, escalated, and periodically reviewed throughout the development lifecycle, including appropriate benefit-risk considerations, escalation of residual risk decisions and quality issues, as well as support for investigations, corrective actions, and management review inputs related to assigned programs.
