Sr. Professional Staff Nurse - Operating Room

Location: UPMC Passavant - McCandless

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, daylight/evening shifts (6:30 AM-10:30 PM

Includes occasional on-call nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift lengths vary (8, 10, or 12 hours.

• Minimum 2 years' experience. OR Experience perferred
• BSN preferred
• Annual completion of 2 professional contributions selected from department, hospital or system goals, and approved by Unit Director OR certification and 1 professional contribution selected from department, hospital or system goals, and approved by Unit Director as set forth through UPMC's My Nursing Career Ladder.
• Certification not required if master's in nursing or DNP is held.
• If a BSN is held, a master's degree in a related field may be substituted in lieu of Certification.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Registered Nurse (RN
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
