POSITION SUMMARY:

Our mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy through innovative automotive and energy products. The Digital Products team builds the platforms that power Tesla's customer experience at scale, partnering across Engineering, Design, Operations, Security, Legal, and Analytics to deliver highly impactful solutions.

We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to own Tesla's B2B Customer Identity platform, with a focus on customer account management, business account structures, customer master data, account hierarchies, and customer data integrity. This role is less focused on authentication and access management, and more focused on the platform that manages customer identities and relationships after authentication, ensuring accurate and scalable customer data across downstream business systems.

The ideal candidate has experience building enterprise customer platforms, defining product strategy, and partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Tesla's B2B Customer Identity platform.
  • Define and evolve customer account models, business account structures, account hierarchies, and customer master data capabilities.
  • Partner with Engineering to design scalable platform services that support customer identity and downstream business systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, Analytics, Security, Legal, Operations, and Business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused platform enhancements.
  • Balance new feature development, platform scalability, technical investments, and operational improvements.
  • Define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution through the full product lifecycle.
  • Establish KPIs and leverage analytics to measure platform health, customer experience, and business impact.
  • Support operational excellence by identifying root causes, driving platform improvements, and enabling scalable self-service solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience leading enterprise platform or customer data products.
  • Experience building or managing B2B Customer Identity, Customer 360, Customer Master Data, Account Master, or Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions.
  • Experience with business account management, account hierarchies, customer profile management, or customer data governance.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience partnering closely with software engineering teams on platform architecture, APIs, and data models.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing or enterprise platform products that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in fraud, risk, enterprise commerce, marketplace platforms, or customer data infrastructure is a plus.

BENEFITS SUMMARY: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated. In addition to base compensation, full-time roles are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Commuter and 401K benefits with company matching.
