Sr. Product Manager 2 Meetings & Travel 2.0 Remote - Contract

Job Summary
The Senior Product Manager 2 FTC will create and manage a portfolio of products for the Meetings and Travel team and will serve as an interface to business users to develop, support, and launch services by generating requirements; determining specifications; guiding development teams and/or vendors in understanding and implementing business process workflows and data requirements; and producing launch plans for service introduction.
This role will facilitate roadmap delivery by ensuring proper requirement analysis with cross-functional groups, project stakeholders, engineering, project managers, other product managers, customers, and end users.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop product strategy and roadmaps for Meetings & Travel 2.0 service delivery
  • Work with internal business owners to define features and manage roadmap
  • Gather and document complex business requirements including:
    • Detailed functional and data specifications
    • Process flows
    • Use cases
    • Triggers
    • Integration points
    • Other information needs
  • Identify opportunities for refinement and automation
  • Successfully guide products from conception to launch
  • Partner with other Product Managers on migration from legacy tools while managing ongoing operations
  • Manage steering committees, advisory groups, and working groups for the product portfolio in conjunction with the Director, Relationship & Delivery
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT Ops, and external vendors to implement and deploy an integrated suite of fit-for-purpose products, including:
    • Meetings Planning
    • Venue and room booking
    • Facilities support and A/V
    • Zoom
    • Transcription and translations
    • Registration
    • Traveler booking and funded travel management
    • Session scheduling and requests
    • Publication of schedules and meeting artifacts
    • Mobile applications
    • Meeting execution support
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams of 8 10 members

Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead functional design sessions and vendor demos
  • Propose design alternatives and articulate benefits, risks, and platform alignment
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to clarify requirements and provide direction to developers/configurators
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including:
    • Prioritization
    • Scoping
    • Sizing
  • Regularly assess and manage product backlogs for assigned systems
  • Write user stories, create test scenarios, and facilitate business UAT efforts
  • Participate in and contribute to daily standups and sprint review meetings as part of the Agile/Scrum process
  • Ensure delivered requirements and training meet customer and end-user needs
  • Manage and guide platform governance strategy for:
    • Administration
    • Reporting
    • Data privacy

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a relevant field of study
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related industry
  • Prior international experience preferred managing global process and systems initiatives
  • Strong experience gathering requirements and writing user stories for complex, multi-phased business application development efforts using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with:
