Job Title: Sr Procurement Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary Range: $50 - $55/hour
Introduction
This position will collaborate with a small team of Sr. Subcontracts Specialists to drive the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals through analysis of CBOM (Consolidated Bills of Material), quoting, and dispositioning of procured parts. The successful candidate will solve problems with minimal supervision and deliver compliant FAR15 packages to the US Government, working closely with various internal teams to fulfill proposal support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance
- DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15) & TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act)
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual agreements
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
- Ability to work in ambiguity with minimal direction
- Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industries
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform market research, identify potential suppliers, data mining
- Submit request for quote (SAP/email)
- Work with suppliers to influence timely quote responses
- Conduct price analysis (or other than cost analysis)
- Establish and build connections with cross-functional points of contact
