Our client is looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager to join their team to drivestrategic AI roadmapping for large software portfolios!
Location: This role follows a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. While Alpharetta, GA, is the preferred location, we will also consider candidates local to St. Louis, MO; Atlanta (Midtown), GA; or Louisville, KY. Onsite work will be conducted at designated office hubs in these specific cities.
Pay: $68-$73/hour W2
Here is what you will be doing:
- Serve as the internal AI Catalyst to modernize product architecture and agile processes across the public safety software portfolio.
- Lead the strategic delivery of current product roadmaps by partnering with engineering teams to drive on-time execution of product pods.
- Implement AI-driven automation within the SDLC to optimize backlog refinement, sprint reporting, and developer productivity.
- Partner with Technical Architects to roll out modern specification frameworks and tools like GitHub Copilot and Spec Kit.
- Bridge the gap between high-level AI strategy and technical execution by vetting model feasibility, RAG architectures, and data security.
- Define and evaluate success metrics for AI-powered features to ensure high standards for quality, usability, and adoption.
Here is what our ideal candidate has:- 7+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, including experience leading complex, multi-team portfolios.
- 1â€"2+ years of direct experience working with AI-enabled or LLM-based products, agents, and prompt-driven workflows.
- Deep technical fluency in modern AI toolchains, including Vertex AI, Gemini, MCP servers, and API structures.
- Proven track record of modernizing SDLC standards or rolling out new architectural frameworks across global engineering teams.
- Strong ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable technical specifications and PRDs.
- Previous experience in Public Safety, GovTech, FinTech, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
