Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located in San Diego, CA and have a hybrid work schedule. The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Leadership to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Business Management organization.

Essential Functions: • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts • Uses Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree with 8 years of experience in Program Planning or Scheduling or a Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project • Able to work onsite in San Diego, CA with a hybrid schedule • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications: • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance awarded/reviewed within the last 5 years • Excel Macro/VBA Skills • Experience in Deltek Cobra • Experience in Deltek Acumen Risk

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
