Take the next step in your career with us! Position Specific Description Join NextEra Energys expanding RNG Team within the Power Generation Division. This role involves participation in pipeline infrastructure development, management, and operations across 21 pipelines in 10 states, focusing on optimizing process controls, SCADA expertise, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities & Job Duties: Conduct rigorous technical analysis to optimize process controls and RNG asset performance Continuously monitor process equipment for safety and optimal yields while ensuring efficient gas collection systems Operate ASPEN HYSYS Modeling features for production optimization and analyze production trends to recommend productivity improvements Evaluate operational practices to enhance gas recovery and quality Prepare and update gas production forecasts for LFGTE & RNG sites and monitor algorithmic product performance Provide full-time technical support to operations and business units, including onsite project implementation and troubleshooting Review and analyze technical documentation for networks and security tools, establishing necessary documentation during project commissioning Identify and resolve root causes of complex system/application issues Support the design and implementation of security tools within operational networks Develop and improve processes for increased productivity and efficiency Stay updated on new technologies and regulations impacting RNG industries Collaborate with various organizations within and outside the division Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical work and regulatory requirements Highly Desired Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer), Computer Science, or related fields Proficiency in operating systems and technical documentation processes Ability to solve complex system/application-related problems efficiently Strong communication skills for engaging with power generation operation customers Desired Qualifications: Experience in Technical Writing Advanced degrees in Business, Engineering, or Sciences Skills in modeling software such as Aspen HYSYS, Python, Ignition Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Power BI Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or higher preferred) Job Overview Employees in this role have responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, selection of areas for investigation, and development of novel concepts.
