Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and expand relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor
Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts
Maintain strong communication with clients and external consultants
Project Execution & Leadership
Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale industrial projects ($1MM+ fees)
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk
Ensure delivery meets quality, safety, and performance expectations
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Develop proposals and support contract negotiations
Contribute to company growth within metallurgy and industrial markets
Financial & Operational Management
Manage project financials including pricing strategies and cash flow
Drive profitability and cost-effective project execution
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular client reporting
Problem Solving & Performance Optimization
Anticipate risks and implement effective solutions
Improve efficiency and productivity across projects
Lead teams to deliver innovative, high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of business development experience in professional or consultative services
Strong client relationship management and account development skills
Experience managing complex, high-value projects
Knowledge of safety, contracts, liability, and compliance
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in metallurgy or heavy industrial markets
Background working with Fortune 500 clients
Proven success managing multimillion-dollar engineering projects
Experience balancing business development with project execution

Base Salary: $140,000 – $200,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: 20–30% performance-based bonus
