Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-15 years of experience in database development using PL/SQL for large databases.
• Proven track record in implementing large databases in Oracle as well as performance tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code.
• Experience working with front-end developers.
• Strong experience in Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions.
• Experience in developing and maintaining PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 19c/21c.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with object databases and other relational databases.
• Skills in contributing to enterprise project deliveries, preferably within a financial institution.
• Experience working in an agile environment with the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and work independently.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated experience designing solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Experience migrating to CI/CD with SDM platform (Horizon/BitBucket/Artifactory/etc).
• Experience providing code reviews and mentoring across multiple agile teams.
• Agile methodology JIRA story grooming execution.
• Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate excellent programming, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Maintain re-useable development standards to implement each solution and/or enhancements to existing systems to meet current and future needs.
• Read code in multiple languages and inspect infrastructure to thoroughly understand the current state before requesting or implementing changes.
• Understand client's requirements (stories), come up with the story level design and translate into deliverables.
