Job Description:
The Senior Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for increasing physician engagement and growing market share through relationship development, strategic business development, and execution of network growth initiatives. This role serves as a liaison between physicians and hospital leadership to address concerns, support communication, and promote AdventHealth services.
This position develops and maintains relationships with physicians and their practices to strengthen existing partnerships and networks. The Senior Physician Relations Specialist representative supports service line growth by executing growth strategies, tracking outcomes, and demonstrating positive return on investment (ROI.
The role attends medical staff department and committee meetings and follows up on action items as needed. It also assists with planning professional and social events for physicians and their families, prepares event reports, and provides quarterly updates to administration. Proficiency in a web-based physician relations management tool is required, along with daily tracking of visits, blitzes, opportunities, and issues in Salesforce and weekly data synchronization.
This position requires a professional, personable, and responsive approach that reflects positively on the organization. The individual must respond to physician needs in a timely manner, collaborate effectively with administrators and department leaders, and maintain a strong understanding of organizational policies and procedures to provide accurate information.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development and market growth initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians and referral sources
- Promote AdventHealth services and support referral growth
- Attend medical staff meetings and follow up on action items
- Coordinate physician and family events and prepare ROI reporting
- Resolve physician concerns in partnership with administrators and department leaders
- Track visits, blitzes, opportunities, and issues in Salesforce
- Provide quarterly reports to administration
- Support new staff education and training as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Advertising, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales, physician relations, business development, or related experience required
- Previous physician liaison or healthcare sales experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License required

- 6+ healthcare sales experience, preferably in hospital sales; comparable clinical experience and knowledge may be considered in lieu of sales experience [Required]
