Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Operations Support Specialist to provide technical and leadership support to Operations Centers. This role requires strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to support operational initiatives, compliance programs, process improvements, and strategic planning activities.
The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership teams and key stakeholders to support operational excellence, continuous improvement, workforce planning, safety initiatives, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
This is a fully onsite role based at 1809 Coyote Drive, with the option to work from the Vint Hill office at 4167 Bludau Drive, Warrenton, VA if preferred by the candidate.

Key Responsibilities- Lead process improvement projects and teams focused on:
- Work Execution

- Provide subject matter expertise in collaboration with operations management to implement initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Support Operations Centers through technical guidance, operational evaluations, business case development, and implementation activities.
- Assist local leadership teams with strategic operational activities including:
- Long-term sourcing initiatives
- Annual Workforce Transition Plans
- Work Plans
- Operating Budget activities
- Coordinate and support field operations compliance programs by monitoring and evaluating adherence to:
- Company Policies and Procedures
- Federal regulations
- State regulations
- Local codes and requirements
- Analyze operational issues and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Evaluate operations to ensure compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards.
- Work closely with internal partners and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful implementation of operational and safety initiatives.
- Foster strong internal customer satisfaction through effective communication and operational support.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to identify and assist in the development of common training initiatives.
- Lead and participate in the design, implementation, and rollout of new operational technologies, processes, and policies.
- Support managers and operations teams in a non-supervisory capacity.
This position does not include direct employee oversight.
Required Qualifications- 4–6 years of experience in natural gas distribution field operations.
- Experience utilizing operations support systems including:
- WMS
- Client
- or equivalent systems
- Strong experience in data gathering and analysis.
- Proficiency with PC-based systems including:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Creating spreadsheets with basic mathematical formulas
- Working knowledge of:
- Plant/service operations policies and procedures
- Applicable federal regulations
- State regulations
- Local codes and compliance standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and professional communication.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to independently organize, schedule, and prioritize work effectively.
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive actions independently.
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience delivering training and evaluation programs effectively.
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Experience leading project management teams.
Additional Information- This role is a support position working closely with operations management and leadership teams.
- No direct reports or employee management responsibilities are included in this role.
- The position requires strong collaboration, operational support expertise, and the ability to lead initiatives across multiple operational areas.
