Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize the operational performance of our Solar Installation Division. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, profitability, and compliance across all operational systems and processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, financially savvy, and brings hands-on experience managing solar installation operations, teams, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions for the Solar Installation Division
• Develop and execute strategic and operational goals aligned with company objectives
• Design, implement, and continuously improve systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Manage warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, AHJ, and utility requirements throughout the installation process
• Analyze financial data, manage budgets, and prepare forecasts to support business planning
• Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain working knowledge of electrical and solar installation regulations and compliance requirements by AHJ and utility
• Lead daily meetings and maintain clear communication with installation crews
• Create and manage weekly and daily installation schedules
• Track crew performance, productivity, and quality, providing feedback and corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Operations Manager within the Solar Industry (preferred)
• Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management best practices
• Proven ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and develop accurate financial forecasts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of solar, electrical, AHJ, and utility compliance requirements
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing field crews and cross-functional teams
