As part of your role, you will work with IT function leads, program managers, customers, and telecommunications vendors to ensure connectivity, performance, and to continuously improve network capabilities. You will be involved in all areas of network delivery, including architecture, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and service expansion.Come join the team that is creating cutting edge signal processing and geolocation systems for the future!What are the primary responsibilities in the Sr. Network Systems Administrator position?Build, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve the network''s operations across Rincon and the customer systems we support.Execute and manage monthly operations cycles, monitoring, maintenance, compliance, and optimization of networking infrastructure.Proactively plan and execute network upgrades, capacity improvements, and technology evolutions.Implement system-level security controls and perform day-to-day security operations of the network.Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, change requests, and system maintenance records.Establish and maintain standards of network administration and development practices, such as technical design, solution development, systems configuration, and operations procedures.Monitor, manage, and report on information system performance, security, availability, and recoverability.Collaborate across other IT functions (Infrastructure, Security, Windows, Linux, Service Desk) and external vendors for issue resolution.What required background will make you successful?Active TS/SCI + Poly Security ClearanceUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDCertificationRequires security certification in compliance with DOD 8570 within 90 days of hireRequires professional certification in one or more areas within 6 months of hireExamples include CCNA, AWS Associate, or role-relevant Windows or Linux certifications.Education, ExperienceA Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline.
