The Role 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Implementation Engineer to lead OSP network design, financial planning, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. This role is responsible for managing engineering requests within an assigned geographic area and ensuring seamless project execution through close collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and municipal stakeholders. The position also serves as a subject matter expert (SME), providing mentorship and guidance to Associate Engineers and Engineer I/II resources. 

The Main Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, and fiber deployments (FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, etc.). 

  • Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections to ensure accuracy and construction readiness. 

  • Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and utilize tools such as AutoCAD/CAD systems, Ivalua, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office. 

  • Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies. 

  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines. 

  • Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance. 

  • Support, coach and mentor Associate Engineers and Engineering I/II resources. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.  

  • 6-8 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience. 

  • Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners. 

  • Proven track record as adept and effective project manager. 

  • Understanding of OSP, ISP & Network, to include all Network Technologies and functionality. RSRFF37

  • Strong technical design expertise, including proficiency with 3GIS, OSP engineering tools, and redline review. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively with vendors, municipal stakeholders, and cross-functional internal teams. 

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Compensation 

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. 

 Location Based Pay Ranges: 

$83,000 - $110,500

Background Screening
