Job Summary (Senior Applications Developer .NET Development Team):
- Develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and supports .NET-based applications for Arizona Department of Revenue tax accounting systems.
- Designs and develops client and/or server solutions to meet business needs.
- Works 90% remotely and 10% onsite as part of the .NET Development Team.
- Utilizes 8+ years of programming experience, with at least 3 years in application development.
- Applies knowledge of .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, Entity Framework, T-SQL, ASP.NET, MVC, REST principles, Dependency Injection, ADO.NET, Windows Communication Foundation, JavaScript, XML Schema Definitions, AzureDevOps/TFS.
- Leverages AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, VS Code AI Extensions) and integrates AI solutions with AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude.
- Follows software development life cycle and application security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
- Demonstrates proficiency in technical and user documentation writing.
- Applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborates effectively with team members and communicates clearly (verbal and written).
- Utilizes PC, Windows environment, MS Office, and Google Suite applications proficiently.
