The Fuel and Environmental Operations team ensures safe, compliant, reliable, and cost‑effective locomotive fueling and water treatment operations across the network. Union Pacific’s locomotive fleet consumes over 900 million gallons of diesel annually through fueling infrastructure at more than 40 locations. Water treatment operations at over 100 sites support locomotive operations by providing potable water and managing industrial wastewater and stormwater in compliance with community standards.
The Senior Manager, Industrial Process Controls Integrator, provides strategic and technical leadership for the design, integration, reliability, and lifecycle management of industrial control systems supporting fuel and water treatment operations. This role oversees controls engineering standards, system architecture, automation technologies, and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity. Serving as the enterprise subject matter expert for PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, data acquisition systems, and industrial networks, the position leads cross‑functional teams to resolve complex system issues, advance automation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
