OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer IV to design, analyze, and support the development of mechanical systems and equipment within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role involves hands-on design work, feasibility studies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring new and modified designs to production.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, components, and packaging solutions
  • Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation for new and modified designs
  • Lead and support prototype development and fabrication efforts
  • Generate and communicate design requirements and documentation to drafting teams
  • Perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure product reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, test, and program management
  • Provide technical guidance to support personnel and junior engineers
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, preferably NX (Siemens NX) and/or Inventor
  • Strong mechanical design and machine design experience
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis and ability to perform hand calculations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
  • Knowledge of thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis
