Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer. This position will be located at our Orchard Park, NY facility.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for supporting research and new product development in Eaton's Mission Systems Division (MSD). The engineer performs tasks including design, analysis, risk management, planning, and coordination with other technical functions and program management related to all work within the scope of assigned projects. The engineer often acts as a technical leader for large projects or multiple smaller projects. They will contribute effectively towards team goals and influence those within their function and beyond to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

o Static and dynamic seal design.
o Oversite and comprehension of stress analysis (static, dynamic, fatigue, vibration, acceleration, etc.).
