Eaton's IS AER FEDdivision is currently seeking a Sr. Materials Analyst. This position will be located at our Rumford, RI facility.

The Materials Planning Analyst is responsible for the materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products. In this role, you will plan and coordinate receipt and inventory of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels. Additionally, you will utilize various business systems, a variety of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000-$126,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You'll Do:

• Balance current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements. • Initiate required documentation and/or system transactions to allocate, purchase, internally manufacture or reschedule material as required. • Expedite material, where required to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements. • Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution. • Maintain planning parameters in order execution systems (such as MFGPro) to ensure proper order generation. • Identify material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases. • Analyze and manage inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit and inventory targets and goals. • Support cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum of three (3) years experience in supply chain. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Rumford, RI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Supply Chain supporting a manufacturing environment. • APICS CPIM certification. • Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) experience.

Skills:

• Strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP concepts. • Possess sound knowledge and experience in successfully deploying purchasing strategies and driving cost-out. • Ability to analyze, identify, and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact annually. • Strong written and oral communications skills. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing. • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
