Join Grace’s high-impact communications team as a Sr Marketing & Communications Specialist and create marketing communications that get seen, read and shared by customers, employees and industry audiences worldwide.

As the Sr Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will be a content creator who writes, edits and produces marketing and internal communications that inform, persuade and help achieve business goals.
In this role, you will work closely with marketing and sales teams, scientists, and business partners to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling communications for B2B audiences. As part of a small, high performing communications team, you’ll create and iterate high-quality content across channels—from web copy and blogs, to sales sheets and case studies, to presentations and video scripts—helping ensure Grace’s expertise, innovation and value are understood by customers, employees, and industry audiences worldwide.
Strong editorial judgment and tactful collaboration support this work, including the ability to incorporate feedback effectively to deliver polished, publish-ready content.
This role reports to the Sr Manager Marketing Communications and is based on-site in Columbia, MD.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit and produce high‑quality marketing content across channels, including web copy, presentations, advertisements, digital content, email campaigns, internal communications, contributed articles, trade show materials, messaging documents, talking points and scripts.
- Support internal communications initiatives to keep leaders and teams informed, aligned and motivated. Author and edit content on company intranet.
- Partner with creative, digital and marketing automation teams and external vendors to deliver effective communications, on time and on brand.
- Translate technical, scientific or operational information into clear, audience‑appropriate narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Use AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, responsibly and effectively to accelerate drafting, refine messaging and improve productivity, while applying strong editorial judgment.
- Manage assigned projects end‑to‑end by coordinating reviews and approvals with stakeholders and proactively communicating status, risks and competing priorities in a fast‑moving, matrixed environment.
- Apply Grace messaging frameworks and brand standards consistently across deliverables.
- Support corporate LinkedIn initiatives by partnering with social media agency to create engaging content that showcases our innovations, technologies and employer brand.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders by combining tactful interpersonal skills with the ability to explain, justify, and stand behind communications recommendations.
- Incorporate stakeholder and leadership input effectively, balancing feedback with sound editorial judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Approximately 5–8 years of experience in B2B marketing communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and purposes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high‑quality work under deadline.
- Tactful professional judgement, including the ability to present recommendations while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate.
- Comfort using AI‑enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, as part of everyday work.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and the ability to work independently in a collaborative, matrixed organization.
