Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Plastics

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing and refining manufacturing operations to ensure high-quality polymer products. You'll leverage your technical expertise to enhance production efficiency and product standards, collaborating across departments to innovate and implement process improvements. With a sharp focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety, this position requires a proactive approach to continuous improvement and strategic problem-solving. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing production processes such as extrusion and injection molding, conducting thorough process validations, and working with design teams to enhance product manufacturability. You will also collaborate on equipment design and maintenance planning, develop and implement quality assurance protocols, and manage project timelines and budgets. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is a solid background in plastics engineering. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of relevant engineering experience and a deep familiarity with contemporary manufacturing technologies.
