    Description

The Pickup and Return Points (PARP) team manages Amazon"s large-scale network of lockers and counters worldwide where customers can pick up their orders or process returns. PARP exists to serve Amazon customers through a network of pickup and return locations, in a way that improves transporter safety, reduces cost to serve, and enables incremental selection for Amazon - while making package handling effortless for customers, partners, and carriers. We accelerate adoption by driving customer awareness, conversion, retention, and partner satisfaction.

Amazon PARP is experiencing tremendous growth and transformation. We are scaling rapidly from $500MM+ in net savings in 2026 towards our ambitious goal of $1B by 2028. This is an exciting time to join PARP as we build a world-class delivery experience for customers through alternate delivery options across Commercial and Residential verticals. If you are passionate about reinventing the last mile and looking around corners for ways to serve customers, we want your help.

We seek a proven business leader to serve as Head of Hub PARP for North America - owning the end-to-end business strategy and P&L across the US, Canada, and Mexico. This executive combines deep experience in P&L management and network operations with the ability to influence senior decision makers at enterprise partners and critical stakeholders internally. They should demonstrate a track record of launching new products, building scalable mechanisms, and navigating complex cross-functional stakeholder environments while maintaining a sharp focus on customer experience and financial outcomes. The right leader will be inherently customer-obsessed, able to translate operational complexity into strategic clarity, and skilled at building and developing high-performing teams during periods of rapid expansion. Above all, they must embody the builder mentality that defines Amazon"s culture - with the strategic vision to scale Hub PARP into its next phase of growth toward $1B in net savings.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Own and manage the North America Hub PARP program P&L, driving continued transformation and cost-to-serve optimization across the network toward $500MM+ in annual net savings
    • Define and execute the multi-year vision, strategy, and operational plan to accelerate network growth, transportation savings, and new product adoption across the US, Canada, and Mexico
    • Lead a large multi-disciplined organization, establishing a high-performance culture of ownership and excellence
    • Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at enterprise partners - understanding their business goals and delivering partnership models that unlock mutual growth
    • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Public Policy teams to launch and scale new customer-facing and transporter-facing products that drive incremental savings and improve customer experience
    • Own the financial and quality performance of the network, defining and measuring key success metrics across customer experience, partner experience, and transporter experience
    • Drive structured feedback loops from partners and field operations into product and engineering teams, ensuring real-world insights directly inform roadmap development and enterprise readiness
    • Influence internal senior executives through clear, data-driven communication and strategic insight, leading high-stakes documents at the VP/SVP level to secure organizational alignment on investment cases and strategic priorities
    • Hire, mentor, and develop leaders across the organization, fostering a culture of talent development with a strong track record of internal promotions and career growth

    About the team

Amazon PARP is a worldwide network of pickup and return locations across the Commercial and Residential vertical. The program enables any business with a physical location or apartment building to offer secure package pickup and returns to customers. Our partners can select from various product solutions, including Lockers, Counters, and Apartment Lockers, to serve customers in their neighborhood or building.

Our North America team operates with significant autonomy and visibility, working at the intersection of customer experience, partner relationships, and last-mile economics. We"re solving real logistics challenges at massive scale - from optimizing last mile package consolidation to launching entirely new product experiences that serve millions of customers and transporters. Our partners range from Fortune 500 retailers managing thousands of locations to local businesses serving their neighborhoods.

As we scale toward $1B in net savings, the strategies and mechanisms you establish become the foundation for how the program operates and grows. You"ll work closely with Product, Tech, Quality, Finance, Legal, Public Policy, and other regional PARP teams to translate customer and partner needs into viable business solutions. This is an environment where ambiguity is normal, cross-functional collaboration is essential, and your ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups directly impacts our success.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
