About the Role

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations & Analytics serves as the operational lead and strategic business partner for the Marketing organization. This role is responsible for overseeing marketing systems and analytics, driving operational execution across the department, and managing marketing financial processes to support scalable growth and measurable business impact. This position will partner cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Finance, and external vendors. They bring a strong combination of technical expertise, operational discipline, analytical thinking, and people leadership.

 

Responsibilities

Marketing Systems & Analytics

  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator of Salesforce and Pardot (MCAE) for the marketing team, including ongoing system maintenance, optimization, and process improvements.
  • Lead the transition from consultant-supported implementations to internally managed operations and ensure long-term system scalability and effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards for lead ingestion, lead-to-account matching, source attribution, and CRM data integrity.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations and Salesforce stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow and alignment across systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance marketing dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights on pipeline performance, ROI, conversion metrics, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze marketing funnel performance and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Marketing Operations & Project Management

  • Oversee operational workflows and project management processes across the Marketing organization.
  • Establish and manage frameworks to track campaigns, initiatives, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Lead prioritization, planning, and coordination efforts to ensure alignment across teams and timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Identify process gaps and operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and collaboration.
  • Facilitate regular team check-ins, project reviews, and operational planning sessions.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, and alignment with business objectives.

Financial Management & Team Leadership

  • Partner with Marketing and Finance leadership to manage the department budget, including forecasting, spend tracking, variance analysis, and investment optimization.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and return on investment to support strategic decision-making and cost management.
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, renewals, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage and develop a Marketing Operations Specialist responsible for day-to-day operational support activities.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to support employee growth and team effectiveness.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+  years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related field.
  • Prior people management experience, including coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce and Pardot (MCAE), including system administration, reporting, and workflow management.
  • Experience managing and optimizing marketing technology platforms and operational processes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience managing department budgets and analyzing marketing performance metrics, including ROI, CAC, LTV, and funnel conversion data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-growth or fast-paced organizations.
  • Familiarity with additional marketing automation, reporting, and project management tools.
  • Experience managing agency or vendor relationships.

 

Base salary range: $155,000 to $180,000

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
