U.S. citizenship required.What You Will DoLead a team of manufacturing supplier quality engineers across multiple sites, rapidly solving supplied material issues impacting our factories. Leadership tasks include staffing, coaching/mentoring, presenting to senior leadership and performance reviews.Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.Guide and support RTX Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) projects.Establish baseline MSQE metrics (e.g., supplier escapes, supplier‑caused scrap and rework), identify key drivers, forecast future demand, and highlight improvement opportunities.Partner with Manufacturing teams to align on top priorities using baseline data and forecasts to drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.Identify supplier escapes or issues and ensure proper containment and feedback to the Supplier Quality Management team.Verify and validate implemented improvements to assess effectiveness.Qualifications You Must HaveBachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or other technical field of study, with a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant engineering experience or seven (7) years with an advanced degree.Relevant experience in quality, manufacturing (assembly, inspection, test), or supplier performance management.Experience applying and adhering to commercial and aerospace/defense regulations and/or standards ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102, AS9145.Previous experience working in cross‑functional process improvement teams.Experience in team or project management / leadership.Ability to obtain an interim clearance prior to start date and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
